General Terms

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. When interacting with our products or services, we infer that you agree with the terms and conditions described below.

Pricing and Payments

The prices of our rooms are displayed on the website. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Pricing: The total prices are inclusive of VAT and an overnight stay tax. Breakfast is served upon request. Any other services, like meals, attendance at seminars or events are considered to be additional, unless they are referred to explicitly in the reservation form.

We accept the following methods of payments: in cash, credit cards, debit cards. Please note that for credit cards payments there are charges of 2,5% per transaction.

 

Seasonal Pricing

Rates for Kumquart Estate depend on season. There are three distinct seasons: low season, middle season and high season. Please see below the relevant dates.

Terms & Conditions for reservations

You can make reservations directly through our website or alternatively:

  • through Airbnb.com, complying with the terms and conditions of Airbnb
  • through Booking.com, complying with the terms and conditions of Booking

 

Direct Bookings

The owners of the accommodation guarantee the finalization of booking, as soon as customers pay a down payment of 40% of the final price, using a bank account, a PayPal account or through vivawallet.

The remaining amount shall be paid 3 weeks prior to arrival or upon arrival, only if there is such an agreement between the contributing parties.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations up to 45 days prior to arrival there is a full refund.

For cancellations up to 25 days prior to arrival there is a 70% refund.

For cancellations within 25 days prior to arrival, any prepayments are not refundable.

Under certain circumstances, any prepayments are fully refundable, regardless of the time of cancellation.

Any change to reservation, arrival or departure dates is subject to availability at the time the change is requested.
Check-in:Guests may check-in from 15:00 to 22:00 on the day of the arrival. For late or early check-in, please notify the accommodation 2 days prior to arrival. The payment is completed upon arrival, if only there is such an agreement between the contributing parties.

Check-out: On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 in the morning. Any changes of check-out hours are subject to availability at the time of request. For any extra services offered (attendance at seminars or workshops etc.) you are requested to pay on the day of departure.
Damages, loss of hotel’s swipe cards or keys:please be careful during your stay. You are responsible for any damages that will occur during your stay. If you are responsible for any damage, you will bear the cost of repairing or completely replacing a damaged device or equipment. Costs will be deducted from your credit card. This can also happen if something is removed from the room during your stay. The replacement in case of loss of a swipe card costs 20 €. If any damage occurs to the equipment of the accommodation (beds, furniture, bed linen) it is necessary that guests replace them.
Liability: We have no liability for any damage, loss or personal injury to any member of the contributing parties or any vehicles or property unless it proves to have been caused by our negligence or that of our staff members during your stay. This also applies when using the safe or our equipment provided (bicycle, canoe etc.).

 

Privacy Policy & General Data Protection

We like to share our happy moments with you, therefore a photo related to Kumquart’s operation and actions may be published for marketing purposes, without your consent. If you have a problem with this, please state in a declaration explicitly that you do not want your photos to be published when it comes to your participation in the various activities of the accommodation (seminars, workshops etc.).

We can reassure you that we will in no case use your personal information and data without your consent!

Car Park Place:You are offered a car park place in a fenced lot totally for free. You have the liability for parking your vehicle at this place.

 

Wi-Fi Access: Free Wi-Fi is provided. A computer and a printer are also available at the reception if you wish to check your emails or print your boarding pass. Because our internet service provider is external, we cannot ensure stable Internet access.

Non-Smoking Accommodation: You are not allowed to smoke in the accommodation, but only outdoors.

Pets: Unfortunately you cannot bring your beloved pets with you in the accommodation.

Please note

  • Throw your toilet paper in the trash in the bathroom.
  • Help us recycle. In the accommodation there are bins for plastic, paper, aluminum, organic and glass as well.
